.NET Made Easy ("we", "this site", "dotnetmadeeasy.com") is a free educational resource for learning C# and .NET, published by Layerbit. This page explains what information is collected when you visit, and the choices you have.
What we store on your device
To remember which lessons you have completed, your theme and reading preferences, and where you left off, this site uses your browser's local storage. That data stays on your own device. It is never sent to us or to any server we control, and clearing your browser's site data resets it.
The "Was this lesson helpful?" control at the bottom of each lesson also stores your answer locally so that it is remembered on your next visit.
Advertising and cookies
This site displays advertising served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
Third-party vendors, including Google, may also use cookies or similar identifiers to measure how ads perform and to limit how often you see the same ad. To learn more about how Google uses information from sites that show its ads, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. You can also opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info, or, in Europe, at youronlinechoices.eu. If you opt out, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalised.
Where the law in your region requires it, including in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, you will be asked for consent before personalised advertising cookies are used, and you can change your choice at any time.
Analytics
This site does not currently run a separate analytics or tracking script. We see only aggregate figures, such as page views, that Google provides to site owners through its advertising and search tools. If we add an analytics service in future, this page will name it and be updated first.
Contacting us
If you email us or message us on WhatsApp, we receive the information you send and use it only to reply to you and, where relevant, to correct a lesson. We do not add you to any mailing list; there is no mailing list.
Third-party links
This site links to third-party services — for example Buy Me a Coffee, WhatsApp, and external documentation — which have their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them.
Children's privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your rights
Because we hold almost no personal data, most requests are satisfied by clearing your browser's site data. If you have emailed us and would like that correspondence deleted, or have any other request regarding your data, write to ceo@layerbit.co.in.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page is updated when we do.
